Let’s Talk!

The Greenway Leadership Council (GLC) and the Conservancy invites all to participate in two upcoming community meetings to voice ideas and provide feedback on the upcoming 2010 season in the parks.

The first meeting is Wednesday, February 24 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the New England Aquarium’s Harborview Café at 1 Central Wharf, Boston.

The evening’s conversation will be centered around the Harbor Islands Park Pavilion (beginning construction in Wharf District Parks this spring) and the upcoming 2010 park season (including a pilot program for park food concessions, possible Wi-Fi, current concepts for programs, the Mother’s Day weekend event, new park furniture for added comfort and shade, and volunteer opportunities). It will be a great year in the parks, there’s a lot to talk about, and we’d like to hear your thoughts and ideas!  Think Spring!

The Greenway Leadership Council consists of 11 citizens of the Commonwealth, including residents of neighborhoods abutting the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, and acts as the advisory committee to the Conservancy.
