Hatchlings Winter Lights Opening Reception

It’s getting darker earlier – so The Greenway is getting ready for its winter lights installation, Hatchlings, from Studio HHH to keep the night bright! Join us this Sunday, November 19 from 5:00-7:00p for an opening reception. Learn more about this installation, listen to a live performance from Betty Ding and The East West Collective, and enjoy some light refreshments.

Each hatchling is powered by the sun, illuminating The Greenway and the Esplanade every night at dusk with vibrant lights that are 100% solar powered. A playful homage to one of Boston’s historic architectural landmarks, Hatchlings envisions a brighter, more environmentally sustainable future.
