Horticulture Volunteer Project

Do you love gardening or want to work with your hands in the park? Are you looking for an opportunity to get outside and do some good for your community? Come join us for a Horticulture project!

Location: The project locations are based on current park needs and may occur anywhere along The Greenway; we send updates to the signed up volunteers several days prior to the project.

Logistics: You will be working with a group of other volunteers doing common gardening tasks such as weeding, raking, mulching, planting, and pruning. No previous experience necessary!Don’t forget to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes! You will also be asked to sign a waiver before you get started.

In accordance with state and CDC guidelines, we are requiring all volunteers wear appropriate face coverings. We will also be keeping groups under 10 participants, practicing safe social distancing, regularly sanitizing all tools and providing gloves to volunteers.
