Where The Land And Our Bodies Intersect: Closing Event

Come join us for a pop-up dance party and artisan market at the Color Commons on the Greenway (next to India Street) on Friday October 27 from 5:30-7:30pm. This free closing event commemorates artist Mithsuca Berry’s work “Where the Land and Our Bodies Intersect,” which has lived on the Greenway since June 2022, and celebrates radical self expression and communal joy.

Enjoy a sound healing amidst the trees from Marlene Boyette, music and dancing with DJ Rayvino, local artisan vendors, and food from Fresh Food Generation food truck. Bring your friends, come for the spooky community vibes, and dress warmly!

Attendees are invited to bring an object of sentimental value (photograph, toy, food, etc) to lend to a communal offering altar to our ancestors.

Rain date will be October 28th at 5:30 pm.

Free with RSVP through this link.
