Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy
Today, Mayor Thomas Menino and Governor Deval Patrick, along with hundreds of supporters of the Armenian Heritage Foundation celebrated the ground breaking of the Armenian Heritage Park on the Greenway’s Parcel 13, just north of the Greenway Carousel. This new park is designed to reflect on the immigrant experience in Boston, and is a gift from the Armenian-American community to the people of the Commonwealth and the City of Boston.
The park will include lawn, fountains, shade trees, and benches. The lawn’s labyrinth design and dodecahedron sculpture with reflecting pool will make this area of the Greenway a welcome place for those looking to relax and reflect. For more information visit www.ArmenianHeritagePark.net.
