Explore Little Free Libraries on The Greenway!
The Little Free Libraries on The Greenway are fully stocked and ready for fall reading weather! Enjoy a wide selection of free books while taking in the changing foliage in our gardens.
Little Free Libraries are small wooden libraries that foster neighborhood book exchanges with the simple motto of “take a book, share a book”. People of all ages can find free books in these libraries or donate a book that they think someone else might love. We often see a great selection of mysteries, contemporary fiction, children’s books, accessible texts, and more!
Since our three Little Free Libraries were installed on The Greenway 8 years ago, they’ve become staples in the surrounding communities of Chinatown, the Wharf District, and the North End. We’re always thrilled to find new books being shared in the libraries and community members taking a break to read on our lush lawns.
Visit one of our three Little Free Libraries in Auntie Kay & Uncle Frank Chin Park, the Wharf District, or the Carolyn Lynch Garden on The Greenway to unwind with a wonderful book in our picturesque parks.
