Caroling on The Greenway with Dede & Arnie
Join us for four amazing performances by local students and professional musicians to wrap up our Caroling on The Greenway series! From jazz to pop to love songs, stop by Dewey Square and the North End on The Greenway for an afternoon of tunes.
To kick it off, we’ll have Berklee students and vocal + guitar duo, Dede and Arnie!
With years of professional experience DeDe & Arnie bring a passion for the sounds of modern and classic jazz, Latin, pop, and soul. With the distinctive and expressive vocals DeDe utilizes these gifts in an unusually wide range of musical styles. She has been nominated for best female vocalist for several years in a row. Her style has a sultry and calming effect think Norah Jones and Julie London.
Arnie’s eclectic, passionate, and eloquent guitar playing brings lucid melodic lines and cool harmonies with emotional depth. Arnie has composed music for the American Repertory Theater of Harvard University and also toured extensively with world famous Tibetan musician Penpa Tsering.
They have opened for the Summer of Love & Humanity play “Love n an Elevator” in Boston, a private party for the founder of Aflac, a private party for the co-founder of Blue Apron for a 20’s themed birthday party and many more venues and private functions in the Boston and surrounding areas.
They will perform from 12p-1p on Dewey Square.
