Pilates with Kim Valentine

Join Kim for a traditional Mat Pilates class! Students will be challenged through sequences and movement patterns found on the Pilates apparatus. Every class is a fully integrated workout, offering efficient breathing techniques, functional movement patterns, and optimal muscle firing patterns. Whether we start standing, on all fours, or supine, you can expect class to flow from breathwork and mobility as part of the warm up, to a invigorating core series balanced out by upper and lower body work, prone, and standing functional movements. To take her class is to know that you will hear the ‘why’ behind each exercise, and walk away having learned more about your body.

Location: Carolyn Lynch Gardens (Between Hanover St. & North St. along Cross St. & Surface Rd.)
