New Plantings in the North End Parks

We’ve completed our planting of new plants, including evergreens and roses in the North End Park along the Pergola between Hanover and North St.  This is the first of what we hope to be a number of planting bed improvements in the North End Parks as proposed in our community meeting held in the North End back in March.

The plantings will provide more of screen against the traffic on the adjoining surface streets and will provide four season interest as well.  Any plants that we removed have been replanted elsewhere on the greenway or in the case of daffodil and other flowering bulbs, back into the Pergola Bed.
