And now, with The Playway, families can explore this urban oasis through a fresh lens of fun, creativity, and connection.
Whether you’re chasing butterflies in our flower gardens, cooling off at Rings Fountain, discovering the newest public art installation, or grabbing a bite from a favorite local food truck, The Playway maps out joyful moments for kids and grown-ups alike, many with free or discounted tickets available through EBT, Wonderfund, and the Boston Public Library’s Cultural Pass Program. A visit to The Greenway also allows guests to participate in free, community-driven events and programs hosted in the park, cool off near a Greenway water feature or fountain, and enjoy a rotating selection of temporary exhibitions of contemporary public art, featuring murals, sculptures, and other installations.
